| This year the Dutch NS 1200 series celebrates its 60th Anniversary!
This -of course- is reason enough for Märklin to celebrate along with the release of the series 1254 in special livery; one long side imprinted with the NVBS logo and on the reverse side the front cover of the NVBS monthly magazine “Op de Rails” (“On Track”).
The entire edition is already completely sold out at Marklin, but we still have a small number available as pre-order!!!
B.t.w. Märklin itself has been producing the Dutch NS 1200 series since 1965, which after 46 years is actually an anniversary as well …
This is also the first time Märklin will produce the 1200 in FULL SOUND version!
This fully metal model will be produced in a limited edition of only 450 PIECES and will only be available at the Dutch Märklin Stores and Shops.
Estimated time of delivery is 1st quarter 2012 and price for this highly collectable locomotive is: outside European Union Euro 277.30 and inside the E.U. Euro 329.95.
We do take pre-orders which you can order through our website or by simply sending us an e-mail stating your order.
Since this edition is very limited and in order to prevent disappointments,
it may be wise not to wait too long with ordering!
