Opposition, designed by Zhang Lei (AZL architects), is part of the (Un) Forbidden City project. Opposition is a tray made of 18/10 stainless steel, which forms a refined play of volume more often in an architecture than in an object. The central, circular and flat space and the high, square and flat outer frame are connected by an angled section, which "runs" seamlessly from one surface to the other.
