Before Käthe Kruse became one of the most famous doll makers of the wold, she had a career as an actress. To commemorate Käthe Kruse's acting career, the Käthe Kruse dolls dressed up and formed a theatre group.

Camille is the Grande Dame of our little theatre group. She gets all the great roles and she loves the applause of the audience. The Doll XII stands 47 cm / 18.8 inches tall and is hand-stuffed with reindeer hair. The head is made of polystyrol and the lovely face is hand-painted. The curly ginger red hair is styled with wild abandon. She wears a dancing dress with bloomers, a stole, stockings and dancing shoes. "Applause please!" Camille was limited to only 100 dolls worldwide.
