Marklin 46172 DB HOLSTEN BEER REFRIGERATOR CAR SET 2020

Prototype: 2 different design two-axle beer refrigerator cars. One beer refrigerator car of the former DB type Ibs 394 with smooth walls as car structural panels and one type Ibdlps 382 beer refrigerator car with vertical board sheathing. Both cars are privately owned cars of Holsten Brewery, Hamburg, Germany, used on the German Federal Railroad (DB). Mercedes Benz curved hood truck as a beer truck for Holsten Brewery. The railroad cars and the truck look as they did around 1979.

Highlights:

• Tooling changes for the beer refrigerator cars.
• Attractive and extensive paint scheme.

Model: Both beer refrigerator cars have different lettering and different car numbers. Total length of both cars approximately 28 cm / 11". The beer truck comes from the firm Schuco. Length 8 cm / 3-1/8".
