Prototype 16388: German Federal Railroad (DB) passenger locomotive, road number 038 357-0 (class 38.10-40). Former Prussian class P 8. Boiler with 3 domes and Witte smoke deflectors. Type 2´2´T 30 tub-style tender.

Highlights 16388: Digital sound with many functions.

Model 16388: The locomotive and tender are constructed chiefly of die-cast metal. The locomotive has a motor with a bell-shaped armature and a flywheel, mounted in the boiler. It also has a built-in digital decoder and a sound generator with the formats mfx and DCC. The locomotive and tender are close coupled. 3 axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive has triple headlights with warm white LEDs.

Prototype 18709: 2 type Bye 670 limited stop fast train streamlined passenger cars, 2nd class, 1 type AByse 617 limited stop fast train streamlined passenger car, 1st/2nd class, and 1 type Düe 938 (Pw4ü-36) passenger train baggage car. The cars look as they did around 1969 as train E 4505 on the German Federal Railroad (DB) in a chrome oxide green paint scheme.

Model 18709: All of the cars have a close coupler mechanism. The 3 passenger cars include built-in interior lighting. Interior lighting can be installed in the baggage car.
