Help us protect the diversity of species. The world is in a state of radical change and the number of species facing extinction is climbing. With this in mind, Steiff partnered with National Geographic and created a special collection of plush toy animals in support of preserving biodiversity. The collection includes a wide variety of animals that were photographed by Joel Sartore for the National Geographic Photo Ark species preservation project. Your purchase is supporting a good cause! Proceeds from the sale of any National Geographic product support scientists, explorers and researchers from the National Geographic Society all over the world. Its fellows mainly live in China and some of the neighbouring countries. As with all endangered species, mankind is responsible for the dwindling population. The so-called Red Panda is also known as the lesser panda, cat-bear, fox-bear and firefox. But he is robbed of his habitat and he is also hunted. Bendi red panda is a very attractive ambassador but he comes with a warning from his species. He is 30 cm / 12 inches tall and is made of red/brown cuddly soft plush fabric. Its back, cheeks, rear head and bushy tail are also a ginger colour. Its stable posture is supported by wiring in his front legs. Its paws are white and its pads are painted on. Its ears and cheeks have a beige colour. The face and head are coloured brown and white using elaborate airbrush applications. Bendi red panda really looks forward to his cuddles. As if he senses that this also promotes understanding for the plight of his fellows. The desire to preserve his species is certainly boosted by his presence.
