Who doesn’t like to play by the sea? June is ready to take her pail to the shore and build sand castles. For this adorable little girl bear, our designers chose a nautical dress from a children’s fashion magazine as their inspiration. It’s made of cream coloured cotton with red starfish embroidery, light blue braid, and old-fashioned style lace. First prototypes of the bear were made in a mohair/silk blend, but felted mohair was the final selection because the designers like the vintage look. She has a light brown, hand-stitched nose and shining black eyes - to take in every inch of the seascape.
