In 2004 it was one hundred years ago that the elephant logo was used as a stencil to identify Steiff transport crates. The Teddy bear with elephant stencil was produced to mark the importance of the elephant to Steiff’s history and business. He is made out of blond mohair, five way jointed and comes with an authentic 1900’s Elefäntle metal painting stencil. This Teddy comes with a commemorative booklet all about the history of "Button in Ear".
