Steiff has produced animals and figures with music boxes since 1928. In 1993 Margarete Steiff GmbH has decided to reproduce this endearing representative of this category, the Musical Bear 1951 Caramel 35 in a limited edition of 7,000 pieces.









The music box is operated by slowly and repeatedly pressing and releasing the marked spot (“Music”) on the Teddy’s stomach and it plays the German children’s song “Fox, you have stolen the goose” and it is stuffed with fine excelsior in the traditional manner, has five joints and hand-embroidered nose and claws.
