The Sumire Teddy bear, is made from lavender/gray violet colored mohair and was limited to 1,500 pieces for Japan in 2015 only.
Sumire is the Japanese word for the flower violet, or in a more limited sense, it refers to Viola Mandshurica (Fuji Dawn) which is one of the species of violet. It is also a feminine Japanese given name. This Teddy was designed and is based on sketches made by the Japanese actress Sumire and has a Hawaiian feel.
The bear wears a flower ornament on the head and a typical Hawaiian Lei around her neck. On her left back paw is a violet embroidered together with the name Sumire.
