The Scotty terrier 1934 replica is based on the original 1934 Scotty from the Steiff archives. Keeping true to the original, this Scotty has two wooden sticks, originally designed to keep his feet in position and to protect him from damage during the different manufacturing processes within the factory and transport to the end consumers. He has a jointed head, is excelsior stuffed, has exquisitely hand-blown glass oval glass eyes with white painted corners, and wears a gold plated elephant logo "Button in Ear".
