In 1993 Margarete Steiff GmbH reproduced the first of these jointed bears, the Baerle 35 PAB 1905.Like the original he is sewn from the finest mohair plush, is stuffed with very soft kapok fibre and has a sealed wax nose. His claws and mouth are hand stitched and his paws are made of high quality wool felt.
